Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your representative and transferred to a luxury lodge in Arusha, located in a serene setting ideal for relaxation. The drive takes approximately one hour. After check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure, allowing you to recover from your journey. You may enjoy the lodge facilities such as the pool, gardens, or spa. In the evening, a private safari briefing will be conducted, where your guide will walk you through the itinerary and answer any questions.
Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti (Flight)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the local airstrip for your scheduled light aircraft flight to the Serengeti. The flight offers breathtaking aerial views of Tanzania’s landscapes, including the Great Rift Valley and the vast plains of the Serengeti. Upon landing at the airstrip, your safari guide will meet you and begin a game drive en route to your luxury camp. The drive offers scenic views of the highlands and surrounding landscapes. After check-in, the rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the panoramic views overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Following an early breakfast, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. The crater is home to a dense population of wildlife, making it one of the best locations in Africa to see the Big Five.
